BIOGRAPHY:
THE DRIVING FORCE IN MY LIFE HAS BEEN MY NEED TO REACH OUT AND HELP THOSE THAT ARE LESS FORTUNATE,  SPEAKING  WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO GIVE THEM HOPE AND A DESIRE TO HELP THEM TO MAINTAIN THEIR DIGNITY. THE FIRST EVIDENCE OF THIS NEED CAN BE TRACED BACK TO WHEN I DECIDED TO HELP A MINISTRY, THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD,THAT WAS ALREADY HELPING THE LESS FORTUNATE. ALSO, MY FELLOW ELDER, HELEN JOKOH, WOULD TRAVEL TO NIGERIA AFRICA ONCE OR TWICE YEARLY AND I WOULD SEND CLOTHING WITH HER TO BLESS THE LESS FORTUNATE.

THE MAJOR HURDLE I FACED WAS WHEN I RAN OUT OF MY OWN, FAMILY AND FRIENDS CLOTHING TO DONATE. AS A RESULT OF THAT, I  CHANGED DIRECTIONS COMPLETELY. I CHOSE TO SWALLOW MY PRIDE AND REACH OUT TO A VAST AMOUNT OF OTHERS FOR DONATIONS. THE MOST DIFFICULT TIME IN MY LIFE AND PERHAPS THE BIGGEST HURDLE TO MY SUCCESS/HAPPINESS WAS NOT BEING ABLE TO FULLY DONATE ENOUGH TIME TO MY PASSION OF REACHING OUT AND HELPING THE LESS FORTUNATE. AS A RESULT OF THAT SETBACK, I SACRIFICIALLY RESIGNED FROM MY DAY JOB AND CHOSE TO FOLLOW MY PASSION.THE JOURNEY TO HAVE COME INTO CONTACT AND MEET SO MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN SO INSTRUMENTAL IN ASSISTING ME TO GET TO WHERE I AM TODAY, FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT OF VICTORIOUS COVERING, HAS BEEN EXTREMELY HUMBLING.

LOOKING AT MYSELF TODAY, I’M HAPPY TO HAVE ACHIEVED ALL THAT I HAVE IN SUCH A SHORT TIME. WE AT VICTORIOUS COVERING REALIZE THAT THE BEST IS YET TO COME. GOD IS NOT FINISHED.

“I needed clothes and you clothed me”
“These acts of doing good do not depend on wealth, ability, or intelligence, they are simple acts freely given and freely received. We have no excuse to neglect those who have deep needs. Sometimes the ability to give life or death is in our hands. Lets chose life.”

​PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:
WORKED  IN T.H.R. A AS HOSPITAL UNIT CLERK FOR 12 YEARS. ENCOURAGED TO BECOME A RN FOR WHICH I WORKED IN VARIOUS POSITIONS FOR 24 YEARS SUCH AS CHARGE NURSE AND SHIFT LEADER. THE DRIVE TO EXPLORE AND VENTURE OUT LEAD ME INTO MANY DEPARTMENTS SUCH AS PULMONARY, REMOTE TELEMETRY, ONCOLOGY ,PLASTIC SURGERY, WOMEN’S GYNECOLOGICAL SERVICES, MOTHER BABY SERVICES BREAST CANCER SURGERY AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERIES.
POSITION OF STAFF NURSE THAT ALTERNATED CHARGE POSITION. PROVIDED NECESSARY HEALTH EDUCATION TRAINING FOR PATIENTS, PROVIDED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT FOR PATIENT THAT EXPERIENCED LIFE CHANGING CIRCUMSTANCES AND CONTACTED APPROPRIATE CONTACTS FOR ASSISTANCE AFTER DISCHARGE FROM HOSPITAL.

Kolawole Owolabi Ayodele-Oja

Kola Ayodele is a seasoned veteran in both United States of America and Nigerian business and politics. He is originally from Lagos, the largest city in Nigeria. Kola has 35 years of experience working in the West African market. Having received his advanced education in London he has held numerous positions in consulting and management in Nigerian related businesses. Probably his most impressive achievement is his ongoing involvement in activities that have led to a prosperous and democratic Nigeria from former military rule. His superb qualities of mediation skills provide him with trust and influence with Nigeria’s business and political leaders. Kola is married to La Victoria and blessed with 5 all American Children.

Kola Ayodele’s network of business associates, friends, and family both in the U.S. Europe, Nigeria, and throughout West Africa is very both diverse and deep. Over the past 35 years, he has built strong relationships across religious and ethnic barriers within USA, Europe, Asia & Africa particularly Nigeria, taking a moderate but non-partisan approach to politics.  He commands tremendous loyalty from the groups he works with at the City, state and federal levels. These relationships have developed into solid connections in the Oil and Gas industries globally

Kola is a follower of Jesus Christ.

JANICE CHRISTIAN JEFFERSON

BIOGRAPHY:
Janice Christian Jefferson was born and raised in Marshall, Texas.  Her parents are Jack and Lucy Christian and she is the fourth of five children.  She is a 1981 graduate of Marshall High School and a 1985 graduate of East Texas State University (currently Texas A&M at Commerce).  She has been married to William since 1999 and has one teenage son, Winston.  They are active members of McDermott Road Church Of Christ in Plano, Texas.  She has been a resident of Frisco, Texas since 2006.

Janice has been employed with Frisco ISD since 2006 as a middle school Active Learning teacher.  She describes her job of teaching students with severe disabilities as “a calling from God that I’m so passionate about I would do it for free, hence, I work long hours without complaint to make a difference in the lives of God’s finest people.”  She seeks opportunities at church and in the community to offer services to children with significant special needs as well as their parents.  She works in the Education Department at her church providing services to enable these children to be included in Bible Class and activities with their peers.  Prior to being a teacher, she worked in corporate America as a senior project manager for GE Capital/JC Penney for 20 years.

As an advocate of volunteerism, Janice has volunteered with the Family Place and Genesis Women’s Shelter/Support (agencies providing shelter and services to victims of domestic violence), and Victims Outreach (an agency providing services to victims of violent crimes).  Her husband offers bedside chaplain services for individuals nearing the end of life through Lifeline Chaplaincy.  Upon retirement, she plans to partner with him in becoming a volunteer Christian grief counselor.  She describes it as, “Will holds their hands as they near death and I will hold the heart of loved ones left behind”.  She has been blessed with the spiritual gift of encouragement as evidenced through a constant word of inspiration filled with Biblical reference to others.  Her favorite scripture is Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”  Her favorite hymn to help her press forward during life’s difficulties is Be With Me Lord.  She often sings or hums it as she sits with those with heavy hearts while providing them a copy of the lyrics.

Janice is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, entertaining, reading, analyzing music lyrics, writing inspirational poetry, studying the brain, assisting the severely disabled, and helping others declutter and organize.  She hopes to publish a collection of inspirational Christian poems based on overcoming life’s obstacles while remaining steadfast in God’s word.

Janice is humbled and honored to have a voice and helping hands for the many people to be aided through Victorious Coverings.

Olumayowa Oke

Olumayowa Oke, Senior Pastor of Open Heavens Church, holds a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from Covenant University Nigeria, Africa and also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University Dallas Texas, USA . He is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Christian Leadership at the Dallas Theological Seminary, USA.

He was a professional Banker in Nigeria and USA before his call to full time ministry with an uncommon gift to pray and teach the Holy Bible effectively and in an impact full way.

He holds dual citizenship as a Nigerian and American. He is an anointed preacher who was born in Nigeria, has traveled to many countries organizing and preaching at Christian crusades to win souls for Jesus Christ.

He is married to Pastor Ayomide Oke; they are blessed with two children. Though a young man he has become a famous and distinguished Christian Leader sorted after globally to speak and meet with other great famous Christian Leaders.

Pastor Oke makes the world a better place through his impact as a gifted pastor with prophetic ministry rightly dividing the word and teachings that transform thousands of lives with testimonies.

He is a philanthropist, helping the less fortunate members of the community, and giving educational scholarships to many who can not afford to pay their school and college tuition.

Pastor Olumayowa Oke’s strength of character is humility and dignity. He is an excellent teacher, counselor and preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A man after God’s own heart.

D’Juan McDuffie

Since 2003, D’Juan McDuffie has been working in social services. With dedicated services to juvenile offender programs, D’Juan takes great pleasure in the restoration and preservation of those who have faced complex issues. His passion for people extends into his church life.

As an active church member, D’Juan serves in the hospitality ministry. He enjoys connecting with established church members while ensuring that visitors and new members stay connected to church happenings and opportunities for spiritual growth. D’Juan loves connecting with the world’s diverse people.

With over 20 years of reaching out to those who are oftentimes neglected and eschewed by society, D’Juan hopes to bridge the many gaps created by both societal and cultural differences amongst people.

With extensive experience in financial services and fundraising, D’Juan has hands-on experience in budget friendly, efficient rallying for the organizations in which he has served. As a former associate of the New York Stock Exchange and public school educator, D’Juan has established a favorable rapport with community members, leaders, and future generations. As the current volunteer team leader for the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, D’Juan works with mentors and juvenile offenders to reduce recidivism.

As a former student of the Dallas County Community College District, The University of Texas at Dallas, and The University of Phoenix, D’Juan is a proponent of education and elevation of one’s intellect. He regularly tutors young scholars in language arts and speech communication.
